About the role The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the direction and oversight for a team of maintenance technicians, roads and grounds crew, and work order administrators for an assigned residential community to ensure company standards of quality are met for resident and property work order requests within Fair Housing compliance. The ideal Maintenance Supervisor applicant will approach each day with dedication, possess excellent leadership skills, and demonstrate meticulous care for the community's property, staff, and residents. Who we're looking for Three to five years of multifamily property management experience with effective written and verbal communications skills Minimum one to three years of supervisory experience with strong interpersonal skills High school graduate education or equivalent and level of competence in English and mathematics College courses or technical school training strongly preferred with relevant trade certifications and licenses Knowledgeable in all phases of residential property facilities management Required to use considerable judgment when assigning and directing work Must be knowledgeable in OSHA regulations Must be available for night/weekend emergency call duty Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and Windows XP Experience with Yardi property management software preferred Possession of a valid state issued Driver's License and safe driving record are required Why work for us Balfour Beatty Investments is proud to offer challenging and rewarding work in a variety of functional areas.
