The Inside Sales Manager will work with TeleSales team members to provide leadership, motivation, and sales coaching to promote and sell DHL services by phone to meet sales targets and generate revenue. The successful candidate will monitor and review customer sales activity and makes adjustments to process and strategies. Key AccountabilitiesCoaching team of 10-12 TeleSales Representatives to exceed revenue and other performance targetsRecruits, hires and provides coaching and development to TeleSales TeamDirects, trains and motivates TeleSales staff who manage accounts and close sales over the telephoneManages territories through business analysis, planning, opportunity management and activity managementCollaborates with Sales, Marketing and Operations management to promote and implement sales growth and customer retention strategies and activitiesConducts quality monitoring sessions to ensure compliance with established DHL sales call standardsAnswers non-routine questions about products, services and policies of the organizationAssists telesales representatives in securing critical sales in key or complex accountsPartners with other sales manager(s) to communicate sales problems, business observations, customer feedback, etc.Tracks sales and call productivity and adjusts staffing levels appropriatelyDevelops, implements, and improves processes through identification of operational, sales, and technological changes that are having an impact on customer satisfaction and revenue growthAssigns work, sets completion dates, reviews work, and manages performance in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and performance management processesKey Skills and QualificationsBA/BS Degree4+ years Sales and/or TeleSales experience in shipping/logistics industry preferred2+ years of supervisory experience preferredBusiness acumen and knowledge of DHL’s servicesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), database and web-based applicationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to coach others in TeleSales functionViewed as expert in functional or business area within DHLPlease note a resume is required to apply for all DHL positions.If you do not have a resume readily available, please visit: http://dhl-resumebuilder.comThis program will work on both Windows and Mac operating systems.
